Our trucks
City Container Services provides a wide range of integrated logistics and Heavy Vehicles transportation services to meet our clients’ demand. We are committed in continuous renewal and acquisition of new vehicles. These vehicles are in compliance with the current Diesel EURO V standards which are environmentally-friendly, that emit lesser carbon compound.

Here is our fleet of vehicles.

• 22 units of Prime Movers
• Over 160 units of Trailers consisting of low- bed, 40 and 20 footer.

Mechanical
All City Container Services trucks are kept and maintained in pristine mechanical and roadworthy condition. Trucks are regularly serviced and checked and all mechanical faults are immediately tended to. No City Container Services truck is allowed to leave our premises without a standard mechanical roadworthy check.

Drivers
City Container Services selects our truck drivers with utmost care. Our selection criteria include medical fitness, driving competence tests and previous driving experience. All our truck drivers are given regular refresher and upskilling driver training.

Monitoring & Communication
City Container Services implements monitoring and communication systems that enable us to keep in constant contact with every single truck and driver.  Every City Container Services driver is equipped with a cellular phone , duly mounted that enables us to remain in constant contact with drivers on the road. City Container Services has fitted all our vehicles with state of the art tracking systems that allow us to monitor the progress of our entire fleet through GPS satellite systems. All vehicles are also fitted with onboard performance computers that monitor and analyse driving aspects such as speeding, excessive revving and braking and fuel consumption. 

Safety
City Container Services cares for the safety of your cargo as well as the safety of our drivers. In terms of the City Container Services quality management system drivers are professionally trained in all aspects of occupational health and safety regulations, whereas vehicle H&S checks form part of our standard vehicle roadworthy tests.
